Jacqueline de Gorter (b.1997) is an artist, filmmaker and poet based in Paris. Her video work spans documentary, fiction, video art and even commercial.
Her film “Blackberry Jam” premiered in Paris at MK2 Cinema as part of the Cheries-Cheris 25th annual Film Festival. In 2022, she was part of the group show “Quand, Soudainement” at gallery Espace Voltaire where her installation and video work, “Carried Passages No.1” was exhibited. In 2022 her photographes were displayed in a solo exhibit at 3537 (now Dover Street Marker) for the occasion of the release of her third zine “Boulevard is a French Word”.
In 2024 she completed two shorts films “Rosa Mystica”, a short film shot in Tuscany exploring Mother Mary and the modern function of cathedrals as museums, and “SUMMER WORLD”, an experimental short filmed in Holland and at Chateau de la Haute Borde. Beyond video, Jacqueline has self-published three zines of photos and poems and is currently working on a first edition of collected poems.
